Nurture African Youth Network (NAYNET) in Partnership with Ministry of Education and Sports Uganda (MOES) is calling upon corporate organizations, development partners, educational institutions, and individuals across Uganda to partner in empowering the next generation of leaders through the 2ND EDITION OF the Uganda National Primary Schools Debate, Poetry and Public Speech Championship 2026 (UNPSDC26).
This national academic initiative seeks to nurture critical thinking, leadership, and communication skills among young learners while creating a platform for intellectual engagement on issues shaping Uganda’s future.Scheduled to take place from 24th – 26th July 2026, the championship will be hosted at St. Mary’s Nursery and Primary School Kitende Lumuli in Kampala. This second edition of the national championship will convene pupils, teachers, debate trainers, adjudicators, and education stakeholders from all regions of Uganda under the theme “Shaping Uganda’s Future through Quality Education, Innovation, and Climate Responsibility.”
Founded to nurture Africa’s next generation of thinkers and leaders, Naynet Uganda continues to champion educational initiatives that promote debate culture, innovation, and responsible citizenship. Through programs in schools and communities, the organization has steadily built platforms where young people learn to analyze issues, express ideas confidently, and engage constructively in national conversations. The UNPSDC26 championship will bring together primary school learners from across the Central, Western, Eastern, and Northern regions of Uganda. Participants will compete in structured debates, poetry presentations, and public speaking contests designed to sharpen research abilities, strengthen communication skills, and build confidence among young learners.
By addressing issues such as education quality, innovation, and environmental responsibility, the championship will encourage pupils to think critically about Uganda’s development challenges and opportunities. To make this vision possible, NAYNET is inviting organizations and institutions to support the championship through various sponsorship and partnership opportunities.
The sponsorship packages include; 1-Sponsor a Motion (UGX 500,000), 2-Sponsor for Accommodation (UGX 1,000,000), 3-Sponsor for a Day (UGX 2,000,000), 4-Gold Sponsor (UGX 5,000,000), 5-Platinum Sponsor (UGX 7,000,000), and 6-Premier Sponsor (UGX 10,000,000).
